opportunities for underserved communities through capital. Prior to becoming President and CEO of PeopleFund he held leadership positions with top-tier community lenders where he was instrumental in their growth at a national level. Highlights of his career include: the development of LiftFund\u2019s MMS &#8211; an early \u201clending as a service\u201d platform tailored to microlending in the US; the financial engineering of a $30M asset purchase agreement between LiftFund and Citibank &#8211; a first in US microlending; the expansion of Oportun (from 35 to 85 stores) where he was directly responsible for the production of 20,000 loans per month; he redefined the CFO role for Opportunity Fund and put together credit facilities that helped the organization become the largest non-profit microlender in US. Most recently he co-founded and managed Listo, an organization providing financial products and services to thousands in California. During his tenure, he helped grow the organization\u2019s assets from $32 million to $115 million and annual lending from $14 million to $55 million. Prior to joining PeopleFund, she served as Director of Accounting \/ Controller at Marbridge, a nonprofit organization with approximately 480 employees and more than $31 million in assets dedicated to serving adults with intellectual disabilities. She also held accounting and audit roles with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. At PeopleFund, she oversees the organization\u2019s accounting, internal audit, treasury and financial management functions, helping ensure fiscal stewardship and operational excellence in support of PeopleFund\u2019s mission. She has extensive experience in business operations and fundraising and has spent 20 +years leading and managing a small for-profit business. She understands the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and small business owners. Jenny holds a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She has taught courses including Business Law, Employment Law, and Bar Preparation, and has practiced law, primarily in wills and estate planning, for 18 years. She served as the Compliance Officer at Waco Family Medicine, helping expand access to health care for underserved residents of Central Texas. She also volunteers as a pro bono attorney with Lone Star Legal Aid of Waco. Since 2018, Cris has passionately performed mediation services across a wide variety of cases. She completed an American Arbitration Association A. Leon Higginbotham Fellowship and serves as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrator.
